The 2011 A&WMA Membership Committee is pleased to announce:

"100 Ideas in 100 Days"

The Membership Committee invites you, a valued volunteer leader in the A&WMA, to participate in a campaign to collect YOUR ideas to improve US. The purpose of 100 Ideas in 100 Days is to generate good, actionable ideas of ways we can improve the valueof membership in the A&WMA. These can also be ways to improve the delivery of services and benefits of membership.

Don’t limit your suggestions to anything! These can cover any area of the Association, including but not limited to:

· The awma.org Website
· ACE
· Local Events
· Sections and Chapters Functionality
· The Journal and EM
· Branding
· Education / Professional Development
· Networking
· Governance
· Membership Recruitment and Retention
· Technical Programming
· Access to Relevant Information (what do YOU need to succeed in your area?)

Yours can be small ideas or big ones, but we want your input on how we can better serve our members. What can we do better? What can we do that we aren’t? The Membership Committee will methodically collect all submissions, leaving the author’s name silent, in order to expand our brainstorming ‘think tank’ to all leadership areas. We’ll look for and note repetition of similar ideas, and by September 22, 2011 (100 days left in the year) we’ll have begun collecting good ideas that improve or add benefit, or streamline its delivery. By year’s end, our goal is to be well underway with prioritizing and executing as many of the “best of breed” ideas as possible through future budgeting and resource allocations, including volunteer and staff time.

We’ll publish the results early in 2012 so you will know what we collected, and will know that this Association is committed to growing stronger with you.
